about us - idas

The search to develop significant potentialities to break through emotional barriers, often responsible for preventing human beings from achieving the life they so much desire, is what justifies this work.

This institute is mainly based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, which has as its main basis the right of all people to participate freely in development and to contribute to this development by enjoying it in an active, free and meaningful way. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights also proclaims

As a common ideal to be attained by all peoples and all nations. So that all individuals and all organs of society, having it constantly in mind, will strive, by teaching and education, to develop respect for these rights and freedoms [...] (BRAZIL, 1948).

Also in line with the Declaration on the Right and Responsibility of Individuals, Groups and Organs of Society to Promote and Protect Universally Recognized Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (Human Rights Defenders), individuals, groups, institutions and non-governmental organizations have an important role to play in contributing, as necessary, to the promotion of the right of everyone to a social and international order in which rights and freedoms are fully realized.

Thus, this institute establishes the importance of attending to people so that they can improve themselves with suitable tools for their personal development in a significant way, so that there can be a consistent and lasting transformation.

It all started with the murder of the mother of the creator, founder and director of the IDAS institute, in 1991 by drug dealers, in a community in RJ. Through carrying out voluntary work in institutions that welcome users dependent on psychoactive substances, alcohol and other drugs in the municipality of Itaguaí-RJ, in 2019, and because we believe that each individual has a power within himself ready to be accessed , then came the idea of creating something that could make a difference in people's lives. With a group of people who dreamed of something completely new, we had a grandiose vision of creating the CEUDAS Project (Unified Center for Socio-Emotional Development and Support), providing emotional and psychological support, self-awareness training, lectures, conversation circles and recreational activities.
